This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact Kimberly C. Starr (email@example.com).
This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.
The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.
The owner(s) of this blog is compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites, and various other topics. Even though the owner(s) of this blog receives compensation for our posts or advertisements, we always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers’ own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.
I operate this and related sites under Protean Enterprises, LLC.
Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure Policy
I do use advertising and affiliate links on this website. Those advertising fees help keep the virtual lights on – and fuel my chocolate addiction. Those links will always be disclosed because it’s just the right thing to do, FTC rules or not. This is what my standard disclosure looks like:
I am an Amazon affiliate because Prime is a lifesaver. “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”
I do product reviews or sponsored posts. While I review items or post affiliate links, I will only endorse products and services that I wholeheartedly believe in and use myself. When it comes to free stuff, I’d rather say “no” to a potential advertiser than accumulate junk or write a review I’ll regret. Sometimes I’m paid for these posts and sometimes I receive free products as compensation.
I do have ads on this blog. It’s just a way to keep the blog finances paid without you having to do anything except burn an an extra calorie scrolling. If you want more sleep-inducing legal stuff to read, here’s what Google has to say about ads.
The views, opinions, and advice on this site are 100% mine. Any product, statistic, claim, or representation of a product or service should always be verified with the manufacturer or service provider.
Health Disclaimer and Disclosures
The stories and health-related information I share on this website are for information only and should not be construed as medical advice. Never substitute these online anecdotes for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always talk to your primary care provider (doctor, nurse practitioner, physician’s assistant, etc) for specific guidance on your medical and health needs. Never delay treatment or disregard your doc’s advice because of something you read here.
I have no financial interests, investments, or stakes in any institution, practice, test, or any other medically related anything. I do design and make my own line of designer cute compression socks; they are, however, a fashion statement and not a medical device.
If you’ve got a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate assistance. This site and information on it are provided “as is” and reliance on it is solely at your own risk.

Anything republished from those websites will have been updated for this site and may be noted as republished content. That disclosure may even direct you to my featured writing for more information.
Other articles I’ve written, originally published elsewhere, may be republished here. These articles will have a link back to the original publication site in compliance with both blogging best practices and agreements with the original publisher.
